Tai Liang Ko (KO)
Coach KO leads the Academy’s coaching program with a strong focus on building sound fundamentals, movement, technique, discipline and match awareness. He is responsible for assessing player progression, determining training intensity and overseeing advancement from Level 1 into Level 2 and future development programs. He also conducts the Academy’s end-of-term player assessments. Coaching philosophy: “Quality over quantity.” KO believes every junior player develops at a different pace and that effective coaching comes from understanding the individual, providing the right level of challenge and building strong foundations for long-term improvement. Away from the court, KO is married to Alice and enjoys being part of the wider Rising Star Academy family and community.
